The town of Veliko Turnovo

I met two brothers on the street. We went to the family home and ate a huge meal prepared by their mother. Whatever a Babooshka is, she was it. She prepared food in a spare, concrete floored kitchen with walls covered by Playboy and Penthouse magazine full nude centerfolds.

Our conversation was entirely focused on the one son's desire to find an American wife, which he assumed would allow him to come to America. He was obsessed, and I realized he honestly believed I would help. The three of them wanted me to know that the woman they hoped I might find could be very, very fat and very, very ugly. They kept making this point.
